Philadelphia, Pa (Oct. 27, 2017) – Led by four different scorers, the Molloy women's soccer team defeated the Jefferson Rams, 4-1, Friday afternoon at Ravenhill Field. The Lions improve to 7-7-2 with the win. Freshman

The maroon and white, which outshot the Rams 11-1 in the first half, opened the scoring in the sixth minute after Poetzsch finished a pass from senior
Felicia LaPera (West Babylon, N.Y.). The Lions increased their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Merino in the 11
th minute.

th minute, D'Eloia tallied her first goal of the season, which was assisted by freshman
Jessica Mauro (South Hempstead, N.Y.), to make it a 3-0 contest.
Jefferson (9-8) cut the visitors' lead to 3-1 on a goal from Dena Noiseux in the 67th minute. Molloy brought its lead back to three, 4-1, on a goal from Marinello, which was assisted by junior
Kim Mejia (Bayside, N.Y.), in the 81
