Box Score Seaford, N.Y. (Oct. 15, 2017) – The field hockey team fell to Bellarmine University, 4-0, at Cedar Creek Park. With the loss, the team drops to 0-14 on the season.

After allowing an early goal from Merit Harris, the maroon and white defense held the Knights to just seven shots in the first half.

Bellarmine tallied three markers in 10 minutes in the second half to take the 4-0 lead.

Senior Melissa Fuerst (Selden, N.Y.) tallied Molloy's lone shot on goal while senior Christina Carbone (East Meadow, N.Y.) fired a shot for the Lions. Junior goalkeeper Tara Byrnes (Huntington, N.Y.) made five saves.

The team returns to action on Friday (Oct. 20) as they face Lindenwood at Cedar Creek Park at 2:00 p.m.
