Box Score WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (Sept. 24, 2016) - The Molloy College women's tennis team was unable to muster a point against the top team in the East Coast Conference, falling to NYIT by a 9-0 score on Saturday (Sept. 24) at the Hempstead Lake Indoor Tennis Complex.

Montaine Le Goupil-Maier (Oceanside, N.Y.) had the best day of any member of the Lions. The first-year player took five games at the second-singles flight from Karolina Pondusova (Bratislava, Slovakia), losing a 6-2, 6-3 contest. Le Goupil-Maier then teamed with
Alyssa Miglorini (North Haven, Conn.) to compete at the top doubles tandem spot, dropping an 8-2 set to Pondusova and Gabriela Siembab (Chrzanow, Poland).
Molloy will play its third match in three days on Sunday (Sept. 25) when it hosts Albertus Magnus College in a Division II/III cross-over battle at Hempstead Lake Indoor Tennis Complex at 1 p.m.
