ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Apr. 7, 2016) - Saturday (Apr. 9) will prove to be a critical moment in the 2016 season for both of the Molloy College lacrosse programs. Not only is it the final doubleheader of the season, but both games could have major playoff implications for the maroon and white and wins are necessary in both East Coast Conference contests.

Women's Lacrosse Versus Saint Thomas Aquinas - 12 P.M.
Molloy:
- 7-4 (overall) 2-1 (conference)
- Cooper Sesselman (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) leads the team with 32 goals so far this season with a .457 shot percentage.
- Meghan Orlando (Hicksville, N.Y.) leads the team with 33 assists and 42 overall points with a .300 shot percentage.
- Caroline Winters (Baldwin, N.Y.) leads with 97 total saves and a .497 save percentage.
- Molloy is outscoring opponents 69-56 in the first half of contests and 135-117 overall.
- Has 12.27 goals scored per game compared to the 10.64 goals-per-game average for the opposition.

- Coming into the contest off of a 3-game winning streak and a 14-4 win against Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday (Apr. 2).
- Ruth Pluviose (Brooklyn, N.Y.) leads the team with 33 goals and 31 points so far this season with a .418 shot percentage.
- Courtney Dumain (Monroe, N.Y.) leads in assists with having 14 overall this season with a .370 shot percentage.
- Kaitlyn Lonergan (Stony Point, N.Y.) leads with 87 total saves and a .481 save percentage.
- Averaging 10 goals per game while yielding an average of 9.33 goals-per-game.
-  Has a 42.6 shot percentage compared to 39.2% average of opponents.

No. 13 Men's Lacrosse Versus No. 12 Mercy - 3 P.M.
Molloy:

-Coming into the contest off of a previous win over Post University, 8-7, on Saturday (Apr. 2)
- Peter Clark (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) leads with 25 goals so far in the season.
- Kevin Teresky (South Huntington, N.Y.) leads with 12 assists and a total of 34 points with a .314 shot percentage.
- Ryan Toomey (Hicksville, N.Y.) has 110 saves with a .542 save percentage and holds a 7-3 record this season.
- Leads in goals by period, as well as shots by period and has more shots on goal as compared to opponents.
- Molloy is averaging 11.4 goals per game and allowing just 9.3 goals per contest.
 
Mercy:
- 8-2 (overall) 4-1 (conference)
-Coming into the contest off of a 4-game winning streak
- Kyle Stockton (Medford, N.Y.) leads with 21 goals so far this season.
- Ryan MacSpadyen (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) leads with 16 assists and a total of 32 points with a .457 shot percentage
- A.J. Pellati (West Islip, N.Y.) is 6-0 in goal for the Mavericks this season with a .587 save percentage.
- The Mavs are allowing only 6.47 goals per game while scoring 12.25 goals per contest.
