Cooper Sesselman (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) had a goal and two assists for the Lions while senior midfielder

Leading Assumption (1-1) on the day was senior middie Julianna Molloy (Guilford, Conn.), who totaled a game-high four goals while Tori Russo (South Windsor, Conn.) and Sarah Reilly (Fairfield, Conn.) each added two tallies. Junior netminder Jaclyn Chirco (Hopkinton, Mass.) stopped 13 shots in net to pick up her first win on the season for the Greyhounds.
The Molloy College women's lacrosse team is next in action on Saturday (Mar. 12) when the Lions host East Coast Conference opponent Roberts Wesleyan at Darcy Field in Rockville Centre. The opening draw is scheduled for 12 p.m.
