The Lions are now 16-12 overall and 7-3 in conference competition while Bridgeport's record currently stands at 6-16 overall and 1-7 in ECC play this season.

Game One: Bridgeport 4, Molloy 3 - 10 Innings
Junior Meghan O'Leary (Lafayette, N.J.) hit a two-run homer in the first inning off of Lions starter Chelsea Hawks (Wading River, N.Y.) to put the host Purple Knights up early in the contest. Molloy scored the next three runs on an RBI single by Brianna Dalton (Northampton, Pa.) and two solo home runs off the bat of Tracey Balinskas (Edison, N.J.), the latter of which put the Lions ahead by a 3-2 score in the fifth inning. Bridgeport tied up the contest in the sixth on an RBI single by Imane Alou Issa (Berchem, Belgium); the game remained scoreless until the tenth inning when freshman infielder Kamryn Beach (Tampa, Fla.) singled home Jenna DiLorenzo (Woodbridge, Conn.) with the winning run. Hawks took the tough loss, striking out nine batters but allowing four runs on nine hits in nine-and-two-third innings. Junior pitcher Alyssa Bua (Cornwall, N.Y.) struck out 12 batters in 10 innings to pick up the victory. Balinskas went 3-for-4 for the maroon and white with two runs batted in while Ashley Fedor (Monroe, Conn.) and Sarah Rambo (Eagleville, Pa.) each had two hits in the loss.

Game Two: Molloy 12, Bridgeport 2
Fedor, Dalton and Alexandra Russo (Coram, N.Y.) collected ten of the Lions' twelve RBIs in the nightcap of the doubleheader as Molloy got back to its winning ways. In the third inning, Dalton smoked a two-run triple to center field to get the scoring going while Russo followed with a run-scoring single. The Lions got RBI base-hits from Dalton and Rambo in the fifth inning as well as a two-run double from Russo in the sixth inning to take a 7-0 lead. After O'Leary put the Purple Knights on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning, Molloy got five runs in the seventh as Fedor launched a grand slam to left field to put the finishing touches on the win. Balinskas tossed a complete game with four strikeouts to pick up her sixth victory of the season. Fedor, Dalton, Russo and Rambo each had three hits for Molloy in the triumph.
