ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Mar. 25, 2016) – The Molloy College women's lacrosse team has had some success in the first part of its six-game, five-state and one-district tour through the middle portion of its regular season. After the Lions hit a speed bump on Wednesday (Mar. 23) against No. 4 LIU Post, Molloy will look to get back to its winning ways on Saturday (Mar. 26) against a winless Wilmington Wildcats club in Delaware.
About the Lions-The Lions are 6-3 this season heading into the tenth game of the 2016 campaign. Molloy lost a 16-6 decision to No.4 LIU Post on Wednesday in Brookville. Freshman midfielder
Brianna Wilson (Levittown, N.Y.) had a team-high two goals in the loss to the Pioneers.
-Wilson is off to a stellar start in her Molloy career with 22 goals, 34 draw controls, 10 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

Meghan Orlando (Hicksville, N.Y.) is two assists away from tying 2013 graduate Alexa Toscano for the most assists in program history (81). Meanwhile, junior middie
Cooper Sesselman (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) is five goals away from the 100-goal plateau for her career. Sesselman would be just the sixth player in Molloy women's lacrosse history to have scored her 100
th career goal.

Caroline Winters (Baldwin, N.Y.) is 6-3 in cage this season with a 9.91 goals-against average and a .533 save percentage to boot.
Concerning the Wildcats-Aside from a 21-20 overtime loss to West Virginia Wesleyan on Mar. 11, the Wilmington women's lacrosse team has had a tough time with the opposition losing four games by a combined score of 78-16. The Wildcats were victims in a 22-4 drubbing by East Stroudsburg on Tuesday (Mar. 22).
-Wilmington is averaging 7.2 goals per game but has given up an average of 19.6 goals per contest to opponents. Junior midfielder Gabby Spalt (Forest Hill, Md.) has a team-high 10 goals and 12 points while senior attacker Sara LeBrun (Bel Air, Md.) has scored nine times this season.
-Freshman netminder Maddie Hurm (Elkton, Md.) has had a rough transition to the collegiate game, sporting just a .256 save percentage as the only goalie for the Wildcats in 2016.
