No. 12 Men's Lacrosse Faces No. 6 NYIT on Wednesday

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Mar. 21, 2016) - It will be an epic clash and a battle of titanic proportions on Wednesday (Mar. 23) at President's Stadium in Old Westbury. The twelfth-ranked Molloy College men's lacrosse team takes on the sixth-ranked NYIT men's lacrosse team in a huge East Coast Conference tilt that could shape the rest of the ECC playoff picture, even though both teams have played only two contests in conference competition so far.

About the Lions
-Molloy is 6-1 on the season so far and 1-1 in conference. 
-Last week the Lions beat Saint Rose 12-8 in a non-conference matchup. Peter Clark (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) had a five-goal, one-assist game and Kevin Teresky (South Huntington, N.Y.) had a hat trick in the effort. 
-The Lions are second in the ECC with 90 goals scored this season.
-Clark leads the ECC with 22 goals this year and has a .542 SOG%. The senior from Rockville Centre also has chipped in three assists. 
-Teresky paces the Lions with 28 points. The senior has scored 19 goals and added nine assists. 
-Goalie Ryan Toomey (Hicksville, N.Y.) has a 8.86 GAA, which ranks him fifth in the ECC. He is sporting a 6-1 record on the season.
About the Bears
-NYIT is sporting the same record as Molloy at 6-1 this year. However the Bears are a perfect 2-0 in ECC play. 
-NYIT's 98 goals are the most scored by an ECC team this year. They also lead the league in goals-per-game (14.00) and goals-against average (6.43). 
-Shawn Murphy (Holbrook, N.Y.) and Will Kistinger (Bohemia, N.Y.) lead the way for the Bears with 33 and 30 points respectively. Both players have netted 19 goals. 
-Goalie Alex Seltzer (Plainview, N.Y.) leads the ECC with a 5.92 GAA. He has made 74 saves.
