Montaine Le Goupil-Maier (Oceanside, N.Y.) winning her qualifying singles bracket to advance to the main round of singles competition. The rookie battled but lost in straight sets to Assumption's Maria Monje (Worcester, Mass.) to end her run in the tournament.

Alyssa Migliorini (North Haven, Conn.) was the second overall seed in the qualifying singles bracket and also won to advance to the main round robin of singles play while sophomore
Megan Scali (Garrison, N.Y.) was a qualifying singles finalist in the championships as well.
The Lions will face the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sunday (Oct. 9) at 1 p.m.
