Box Score WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (Sept. 4, 2015) - The Molloy College women's tennis team stumbled in their 2015 opener, falling 9-0 to Daemen on Friday at Hempstead Indoor Lake Tennis Complex.

The Lions received quality efforts from their doubles tandems, as the first flight group of senior Tatiana Rajaona (Paris, France) and freshman Megan Scali (Garrison, N.Y.) lost a gritty 8-5 contest to the Wildcats. Second-flight doubles tandem Emily Rosen (Little Neck, N.Y.) and Christie Catterson (Amityville, N.Y.) fell by an 8-2 scoreline, while the third tandem of Krystal Bottone (Wantagh, N.Y.) and Tiffany Nagasawa (Lynbrook, N.Y.) suffered an 8-3 defeat at the hands of Daemen.

The Lions are next in action on Tuesday (Sept. 8) as they head to Philadelphia for a non-conference tilt with Holy Family at 3:30 p.m.
