(Sept. 26, 2015) - The Molloy College women's tennis team was unable to defeat St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday, falling to the Spartans by a 9-0 score at Hempstead Indoor Lake Tennis. Molloy now falls to 0-6 and 0-3 in East Coast Conference play, while STAC improves to 4-5 and 1-3 in ECC competition.

Tatiana Rajaona (Paris, France) lost a hard-fought contest at the No. 1 singles flight to junior Bianca Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) in straight sets, 6-2 and 7-5. Rajaona teamed with freshman
Megan Scali (Garrison, N.Y.) as the top doubles tandem, but the duo fell to Signore and sophomore Sara O'Brien (Orangeburg, N.Y.) by an 8-2 decision. O'Brien also knocked off Scali in straight sets at the second singles position (6-2, 6-2).
The Molloy College women's tennis team will face LIU Post in Brookville on Friday (Sat. 2) at the LIU Post Tennis Courts. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m.
