Box Score MANCHESTER, N.H. (Mar. 22, 2015) - On Saturday, the No. 10 Molloy College men's lacrosse team defeated Southern New Hampshire University, 12-6 in Manchester, N.H. With the win, the Lions are now 5-1 overall, while the Penmen dropped to 1-5.

Tom Engelhardt (Bethpage, N.Y.), junior
Tom Graef (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) and junior
Peter Clark (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) all scored in the first quarter to put Molloy ahead 3-1. In the second period, the Penmen scored a man-up goal and then a man-down goal to tie the game at 3-all, before Engelhardt and Clark found the back of the netting again to give Molloy a 5-3 advantage.
Following halftime, SNHU scored at the 8:23 mark to trim its deficit to 5-4. However, the Lions proceeded to pick up another two goals off the sticks of senior
Joe Leonard (Hicksville, N.Y.) and junior
Austin Valenti (Baldwin, N.Y.). The Lions scored another five goals in the fourth quarter -- to the Penmen's two tallies -- to lock down the 12-6 victory.
For Molloy, Leonard and Clark finished with three goals each, while Leonard also dished out three assists. Engelhardt recorded two goals and three assists, while junior
Tom Turner (East Rockaway, N.Y.) finished with one goal and a pair of assists. In the cage, freshman goalie
Ryan Toomey (Hicksville, N.Y.) made 15 saves.
