Molloy's juggernaut offense continued to roll in the early portion of its 2015 campaign. The Lions jumped on the scoreboard in the very first inning. Junior
Michael Rahn (Sayville, N.Y.) singled in sophomore
Anthony Alberghina (Staten Island, N.Y.). In that same inning, graduate student
John Galanoudis (Farmingdale, N.Y.) scored via a wild pitch to help the Lions take a 2-0 lead versus the Panthers. In the second inning, junior
Deilyn Guzman (East Hampton, N.Y.) grounded into a double play, but allowed fellow junior
Kyle Van Duyne (Sayville, N.Y.) to touch home plate. Molloy then went ahead 4-0 when Alberghina singled home sophomore
Brian Murphy (Elmont, N.Y.).
In the fifth, freshman
Angelo Navetta (Staten Island, N.Y.) joined the scoring frenzy with an RBI single to plate Rahn. Molloy scored twice in the sixth (Van Duyne and Guzman scored via errors) and twice in the seventh (a Murphy RBI double and a two-run single from Guzman), before Adelphi scored its first run of the game. Molloy took an 11-1 lead in the eighth when sophomore
