Box Score DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Oct. 31, 2015) - The Molloy College women's soccer team concluded its season Saturday (Oct. 31) with a 4-1 loss to Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry. The Lions wrap up the 2015 season with a 6-8-2 overall record and a 3-6 mark in East Coast Conference competition. Meanwhile, the defending ECC Tournament champion Mavericks improve to 8-5-2 and 6-3 overally in conference action.
Molloy fell behind 2-0 in the first half as the Mavericks tallied goals in the 15th and 35th minute of play. The Lions were not able to score until the 50:45 mark of the contest when senior attacker
Shannon Murphy (North Babylon, N.Y.) put home her third goal of the season off of a scramble in front of the Mercy net. The score was 2-1 for just a brief moment in time as the Mavericks added a third goal to their account just two minutes later, finally scoring in the 71st minute to cap the goal tally in the match.
Molloy was outshot by the Mavs 14-10, with nine Mercy shots on target to Molloy's eight. Junior forward

Kelsey Dittmeier (Great Neck, N.Y.) made five saves in her second start of the season and third appearance overall for the maroon and white.
