The loss drops the Lions to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in conference, while the Pioneers improve to 3-3 with a 2-2 record in East Coast Conference competition.

Tiffany Nagasawa (Lynbrook, N.Y.) picked up the lone point for the maroon and white in the competition, winning a 6-4 one-setter with freshman Katie Kumpas (Massapequa, N.Y.) in sixth-singles. Junior
Emily Rosen (Little Neck, N.Y.) dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision at the No. 3 singles flight to junior Laura Harwell (Alabaster, Ala.).
Weather permitting, the Molloy College women's tennis team will face NYIT on Saturday (Oct. 3) with the first match scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
