Box Score ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Sept. 23, 2014) - The Molloy College women's soccer team fell at the hands of East Coast Conference-foe LIU Post, 2-0 on Tuesday night. With the loss, the Lions are now 0-5-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the league, while the Pioneers improved to 5-1 (1-0 ECC).
LIU Post first scored in the 45th minute of the match, when Julia Backman netted a tally off a penalty kick. Four minutes later, following the intermission, Susanne Vistnes found the back of the netting as she recorded her team's second marker of the evening. Vistnes fired a free kick into the lower left corner of the net from about 20 yards out.

Danny Longo and the Lions return to the field on Saturday, Sept. 27 when they host ECC-foe Queens College beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday is also Wounded Warrior Day as the Lions will host on-field a veteran of the United States military through the Wounded Warrior Project.
