Box Score 2 CALDWELL, N.J. (Apr. 23, 2014) - The Molloy College softball team ventured to New Jersey on Wednesday afternoon, faced with a tough task squaring off against No. 10 Caldwell College. The Lions fell in both games of this non-league doubleheader by differences of four runs, 6-2 and 5-1. Molloy slipped to 23-20 overall, while the Cougars improved to 34-4 on the campaign.

Tracey Balinskas (Edison, N.J.) to touch home plate. That 2-1 lead would be the last of the game for the Lions as Caldwell scored twice in the third and twice in the sixth to take a 6-2 lead and eventual win.

Susan Cassidy-Lyke and her team returns to the diamond on Friday, Apr. 25 when the Lions host St. Thomas Aquinas College in their regular season home finale. The doubleheader will get underway at 3:30 p.m. from Bob Klein Field in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
