Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. (Mar. 7, 2014) - After getting rained out following two innings versus the College of Saint Rose on Thursday afternoon, the Molloy College baseball team took to the field in game 2 of its southern trip to Lynn University and the Sunshine State, falling to Wilmington University, 10-4. With the loss, Molloy dropped to 2-3 on the young season.
Senior starter 
Max Schonfeld (East Meadow, N.Y.) had a shaky first inning, resulting in seven runs scoring. Two errors in the inning didn't help matters as Wilmington jumped out to a quick lead.
In the third and fourth innings, Wilmington found another three runs to build its lead to 10-0. Molloy scored four in the top of the ninth inning to inch a little closer, but ultimately fell to its opponent, 10-4. In that ninth frame, rookie 
Ronald Bauer (Hicksville, N.Y.) had an RBI single, senior centerfielder 
Carlos Guzman (Bloomingburg, N.Y.) rocketed a two-run double and junior DH/outfielder 
John Galanoudis (Farmingdale, N.Y.) recorded an RBI single. Freshman 
Ryan Dillon (Medford, N.Y.), Bauer, freshman outfielder 
Anthony Alberghina (Staten Island, N.Y.) and 
Carlos Guzman scored.
Out of the Lions' bullpen, senior 
Anthony Eichhorn (Sayville, N.Y.), and sophomores 
Peter Vath (Selden, N.Y.) and 
Marco Martino (Garden City, N.Y.) all combined for four shutout innings, whiffing four batters.
