Skelos Sports Complex in Rockville Centre, N.Y. With the win, the Falcons improved to 1-4 overall. Following the defeat, the Lions slipped to 4-4 on the season.
The Falcons started the game off with two goals in the first six minutes of regulation. Molloy freshman midfielder
Cooper Sesselman (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) halved that deficit when she scored at the 22:15 mark. One minute later, Bentley upped its lead to two goals again when Jackie Brown netted a tally. Down 3-1, the Lions found the equalizers at the 20:36 and 17:24 marks as senior midfielder
Samantha Arlotta (Garden City Park, N.Y.) scored twice, with the second coming off a feed from fellow senior midfielder
Candice Noakes (Levittown, N.Y.).
From 11:35 to 10:36, the Falcons broke the tie and recorded three unanswered goals. This 6-3 advantage would carry over into the intermission.
With four minutes gone by in the second period, Lions' freshman attack
