Gabrielle Batista (Hicksville, N.Y.). With the win, the Lions are currently 5-7-1 overall and 5-3 in the league, which is good for the fourth and final playoff spot. Following the loss, the Spartans fell to 6-6-2 (2-5-1 ECC).
Rookie
Paige Salmon (West Hempstead, N.Y.) and
Nicole DellaPorta (West Babylon, N.Y.) had identical lines in goal today for the Lions -- 45 minutes played and one save.
The Lions outshot the Spartans, 9-6, while doubling them up in corner kicks (6-3).
