Gabrielle Batista (Hicksville, N.Y.) put one past the Bears' goalkeeper off a deflection. With the win, the Lions are now 2-7-1 overall and 2-3-0 in the East Coast Conference. Following the defeat, the Bears slipped to 2-7-2 on the year and 0-4-1 in the league.
The Lions dominated the Bears in shots, 23-4, while also holding the edge in corner kicks, 6-1.
