Victor Caraballo Era as the Lions defeated the University of the Sciences, 9-0, in Philadelphia, Pa. Molloy improved to 1-2 on the year, while USciences dropped to 0-2 overall.

Stephanie Rances (Jamaica, N.Y.) battled and defeated Victoria Quang in first singles, 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-7). In second singles, senior
Nikki Gloria (Queens Village, N.Y.) downed Melissa White by scores of 6-0 and 6-2, prior to senior
Tatiana Rajaona (Paris, France) shutout Andria Dang, 6-0, 6-0. In fourth singles, senior
Gabrielle DiCroce (East Meadow, N.Y.) beat Allison Korn, 8-1. Molloy senior
Megan Lawless (Baldwin, N.Y.) took care of Marysa Kamlau, 8-3. In the final singles of the day, junior
Ryan Quick (Long Beach, N.Y.) beat Tea Cadenovic, 8-4.
In doubles play, Gloria/Rajaona defeated the pairing of Quang/White, 8-3. In second doubles, the Lion's duo of DiCroce/Rances earned an 8-0 win over Dang/Alexis Vidal. In third doubles, Lawless/Quick edged Cadenovic/Korn, 8-6.

Victor Caraballo and the Lions return to the courts on Thursday, Sept. 12 when they play at Queens College to open up East Coast Conference play. The opening serve is slated for 3:00 p.m.
