Stephanie Rances (Jamaica, N.Y.) lost to Yergeniya Plevako, 6-1, 6-0, while senior
Nikki Gloria (Queens Village, N.Y.) fell in second singles to Jennifer Friedman, 6-1, 6-1. In the third singles slot, senior
Tatiana Rajaona (Paris, France) slipped up against Andrea Samson, 6-0, 6-3. In fourth singles, senior
Gabrielle DiCroce (East Meadow, N.Y.) was beat by Darby Brandon, 6-0, 6-2. Fifth singles saw Queens' Anna Rodionova down Molloy senior
Megan Lawless (Baldwin, N.Y.), 6-0, 6-1. In the final singles of the day, junior
Ryan Quick (Long Beach, N.Y.) lost to Kim Xiong, 6-1, 6-1.
In first doubles, the pairing of Rajaona/Gloria fell to Weronika Kuvka and Plevako, 8-1. In second doubles, Rances and DiCroce lost to Aylon Mehter and Friedman, 8-1. Finally, in third doubles, the Knights' duo of Samson and Brandon defeated Molloy's partnering of Lawless and Quick, 8-0.

Victor Caraballo and the Lions return to the courts on Saturday for their first home match of the 2013 season. Molloy hosts LeMoyne College at 12:30 p.m. The match will be played at the Rockville Racquet Club in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
