BOSTON, Mass. (Nov. 9, 2013) - On Saturday, the Molloy College men's and women's cross country squads competed at the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. The men's team finished 13th out of 28 squads, while the women's club didn't place as a team.
On the men's side, sophomore
Mike Darnell (Wantagh, N.Y.) had the highest finish for the Lions, coming in 40th place with a timing of 33:27.80 in the 10k. Senior
Luke Merz (Babylon, N.Y.) finished 44th overall (33:32.70) out of 185 runners.
Sophomore
Caitlin Breen (Williston Park, N.Y.) had the best finish for Molloy in the women's 6k, by recording a time of 24:00.20, which was good for 39th overall (out of 181 runners).
