Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Oct. 8, 2013) - Last evening, the Molloy College women's soccer squad hopped on a bus and headed over to Lock Haven, Pa. for a non-conference contest against Lock Haven University slated for Tuesday afternoon. Despite keeping the game close the whole time, the Eagles were able to defeat the Lions, 3-1 at Hubert Jack Stadium today, to improve to 4-5-1 overall. Molloy slipped to 1-9 on the year with the loss.
Samantha Biondi was the first to draw blood for the Eagles as she netted a goal in the 22nd minute of the game. Taylor Schutte sent in a long cross, which Biondi found for a half volley past Molloy junior goalkeeper

The Lions didn't wait long to find the equalizer as freshman
Jessica Malone (Long Beach, N.Y.) scored 108 seconds after Biondi did. Malone fired the ball in off receiving a corner kick, which was saved by Eagles' netminder Michelle Cuomo. Malone was able to find the rebound, however, and blasted that in for Molloy's lone goal of the contest.
Sarah Bonelli scored for Lock Haven with 22 seconds left in the first half. Dribbling down the left side of the field, she shot it into the upper corner of the far post to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead.
Following the intermission, the Eagles scored once more as Katie Eichman was fed a through ball by Jamie Hunter. Eichman proceeded to beat the goalie and score.
DellaPorta had six saves for Molloy, while Cuomo made four stops in net for the Eagles.
