Box Score CALDWELL, N.J. (Oct. 12, 2013) - On Saturday afternoon, the Molloy College women's soccer team fell to non-league opponent Caldwell College, 3-1, to slip to 2-10 on the year. With the win, the Cougars improved to 7-3-2 overall.
Caldwell jumped out to a quick lead when Remi Piccirillo scored in the 13th minute of the game. Off a long throw from Ashley King and then a quick pass from Julie Crankshaw, Piccirillo put it past Lions' senior goalkeeper
Tricia Zarro (Valley Stream, N.Y.). RIght before halftime, however, the Lions found the equalizer as freshman
Gianna Jennosa (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) found the back of the netting for her first marker of the year. Jennosa scored in the 41st minute off a penalty kick as the Cougars made a crucial foul in the box.
Just seven minutes later, and into the second stanza, Crankshaw was awarded a penalty kick. She scored her sixth goal of the season to change the score in her team's favor to 2-1. A third goal would be scored in the 65th minute when Piccirillo notched her second of the game. Crankshaw was responsible for her second assist of the contest.
For the Lions, Zarro stopped five shots in her second start this year between the pipes. Her counterpart, Caldwell netminder Kylie Whalen, made seven saves.

Danny Longo and the Lions return to the field on Thursday, October 17 when they travel to Pennsylvania to play Philadelpia University at 4 p.m.
