MEN'S RESULTS
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (Oct. 12, 2013) - On Saturday, the Molloy College women's and men's cross country teams raced at the DeSales University Invite -- the final meet for the Lions before the East Coast Conference Championships in two weeks. The men's squad placed sixth out of 20 teams, while the women didn't record a team finish.
On the women's side, senior
Caitlin Breen (Williston Park, N.Y.) finished 23rd overall out of 248 runners, crossing the end-line at 24:56.72.
For the men's team, sophomore
Conor Gallagher (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) notched a timing of 27:18.78, which was good for 20th place out of 276. Senior
Luke Merz (Babylon, N.Y.) finished in 24th place (27:26.09), while sophomore
Mike Darnell (Wantagh, N.Y.) was one spot behind him (27:28.56).
Head Coaches Danny Naud,
Keely Coco, and the Lions return to action when they compete in the ECC Championships on Sunday, October 27. The meet will be held at LIU Post in Brookville, N.Y.
