CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Apr. 15, 2015) - On Monday night, the East Coast Conference office announced that Molloy College freshman shortstop Brianna Dalton (Northampton, Pa.) was named the league's Rookie of the Week.

Dalton crushed four home runs last week and recorded 10 RBIs to help the Lions to four wins. She batted .417 (10-for-24), and had six runs scored, two doubles, six walks and a stolen base. Dalton reached base at a .533 clip and slugged 1.000.

Dalton and her teammates return to the field on Thursday to play at the University of Bridgeport beginning at 3 p.m.
