CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Apr. 8, 2015) - On Monday, Molloy College freshman midfielder Jessica Markowitz (Baldwin, N.Y.) was selected as the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.

Markowitz recorded seven goals and three assists for 10 points this past week. She also picked up six ground balls, won eight draw controls and caused a turnover. This is Markowitz's second Rookie of the Week award, as she earned the same praise on March 24.

Markowitz and her teammates return to action on Saturday, Apr. 11 when they take on St. Thomas Aquinas College on the road beginning at 1 p.m.
