CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Apr. 8, 2015) - On Monday, the East Coast Conference office announced that Molloy College sophomore outfielder Anthony Alberghina (Staten Island, N.Y.) was named the Player of the Week.

Alberghina recorded a sizzling .632 batting average last week (12-for-19), a .708 on-base percentage, and a .789 slugging percentage. Alberghina had a hit in all five of Molloy's games and had multiple hits in four of them. He also drove in seven runs, stole two bases and scored eight times. In addition, he added three doubles and five walks.

Alberghina and his teammates return to action on Friday, April 10 versus the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut beginning at 3:30 p.m.
