On March 23, Molloy College freshman midfielder Jessica Markowitz (Baldwin, N.Y.) was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for women's lacrosse. Markowitz continued her excellent rookie campaign by scoring five goals and dishing out one assist in Molloy's 15-10 win over Chestnut Hill College. She added a ground ball as well.
