CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Apr. 8, 2014) - Molloy College freshman Ronald Bauer (Hicksville, N.Y.) earned his first collegiate East Coast Conference accolade on Monday as he was named the league's Baseball Rookie of the Week.

Bauer batted .444 this past week in five games, racking up eight hits in 18 at-bats. He drove in two runs, scored twice, walked once, had two triples, and stole three bases. His on-base percentage for the week was .474, while he slugged at a .667 clip.
