CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jan. 21, 2014) - The mid-season accolades keep on rolling in for Molloy College senior forward John Petrucelli (Hicksville, N.Y.). First, on Saturday afternoon, Petrucelli's 24 points against Nyack College catapulted him past Kenneth Francis, becoming the all-time scoring leader at Molloy with 1,691 career points. And then, today, the East Coast Conference office announced its Week Ten accolades with Petrucelli being tabbed the Player of the Week.

Petrucelli averaged 30.0 points per game this past week in a pair of wins over UDC and Nyack. The Hicksville product shot an incredible 61.5% from the floor (24-for-39), while going 12-of-15 from the charity stripe (80.0%). He also averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, 2.0 assists per game, 5.0 steals per game, and 0.5 blocks per game.

This is Petrucelli's seventh ECC award of the season. He was previously named the Player of the Week on Dec. 23, and selected to the Weekly Honor Roll five times.
