This past week, Molloy College senior center Tyler Hammett (Clifton Park, N.Y.) aided the Lions in a 78-62 triumph over American International College in Springfield, Mass. on Jan. 4. Hammett scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for a double-double. Ten of those 12 rebounds came on the offensive side of the glass. The Clifton Park native shot 5-for-8 from field goal range, while recording a pair of blocks and a steal.
Hammett and his teammates return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 8 when they travel to Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. to square off against ECC-opponent Mercy College at 7:30 p.m. LiveStats and a video broadcast will be available via www.MolloyLions.com.
