On Monday morning, the East Coast Conference office released its Week Eight men's basketball honors with Molloy College senior forward John Petrucelli (Hicksville, N.Y.) being selected to the Weekly Honor Roll -- his sixth ECC weekly recognition this season.

Petrucelli poured in a game-best 27 points in the 78-62 victory over American International College on Saturday, Jan. 4. The Hicksville native went an incredible 8-for-15 from field goal range (53.3%), including 3-for-4 from three-point land. He sunk eight of his nine free throws, while picking up five rebounds, three assists and four steals.

Petrucelli and his teammates return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 8 when they travel to Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. to square off against ECC-opponent Mercy College at 7:30 p.m.  LiveStats and a video broadcast will be available via www.MolloyLions.com.
