CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Dec. 23, 2013) - On Monday, the East Coast Conference office released its Week Seven Men's Basketball awards, with Molloy College senior forward John Petrucelli (Hicksville, N.Y.) taking home Player of the Week, and freshman forward Charlie Marquardt (Rockaway Beach, N.Y.) being named Rookie of the Week.

Marquardt averaged 15.5 points per game to help his squad to two conference victories. The freshman shot 54.5% from downtown, while also averaging 2.0 boards per game and 1.5 assists per contest.

Petrucelli, Marquardt and the rest of the Lions return to the court on Saturday, January 3 when they travel to Springfield, Mass. to square off against American International College. The opening tipoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.  Please check back for links to LiveStats and/or a video broadcast.
