CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Dec. 16, 2013) - On Monday morning, the East Coast Conference issued its weekly men's basketball awards for Week Six and Molloy College senior forward
John Petrucelli (Hicksville, N.Y.) was selected to the Honor Roll for the fourth time this season.
Petrucelli had a monster week for the Lions. He averaged 31.5 points per game, 12.0 rebounds per game and 2.0 steals per contest. Against the University of Bridgeport, Petrucelli scored a career-high 39 points, while following that performance with a 24-point outing versus Dowling College. He shot 53.5% from the floor for the week and 100% from the foul line (17-for-17). The Hicksville native also added two assists, two blocks, and four steals. The Hicksville native recorded double-doubles in both games.
UP NEXT: Petrucelli and his teammates return to action next Friday, December 20 when they host East Coast Conference-opponent Daemen College. All the action is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Quealy Gymnasium.
