Scavelli was red hot at the plate, averaging .471 with eight hits, seven runs, five extra base hits, and five RBIs while slugging at .824 in a 3-1 week for Molloy. The junior tallied two or more hits in three of his four games played, including going 3-for-5 with three doubles and three RBIs against New Haven.
