McGurk hit .556 on the week for the Lions, totaling five hits and driving in two runs. The freshman hit her first career home run in her first at bat at Bob Klein this weekend against Jefferson, going 4 for 5 in the doubleheader with two RBI, two runs scored and the homer. For her performance, she was named ECC Rookie of the Week.
