CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 11, 2013) - On Monday afternoon, the East Coast Conference office issued its first weekly men's basketball accolades for the 2013-14 campaign and Molloy College junior guard Matt McLeod (Greenlawn, N.Y.) was selected as the Co-Player of the Week for his part in helping his team go 1-1 to open the season.

McLeod excelled in the first two games of the season, averaging a double-double. He scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the game against Southern Connecticut State University, and then netted 29 points and brought down 12 rebounds in the 90-81 win over Felician College. McLeod added five assists and three steals on the week. The Greenlawn native shot 53.8% from the floor and 90.9% from the free throw line.
